Flex Boots come with back straps as standard, and the straps can also be purchased separately if you require spares. Spare straps are a fun way to add a splash of color to your boots, or choose a color that matches with your tack and riding outfit for the perfect matchy matchy look! Coloured back straps can be practical too; if you use Flex Boots on fronts and hinds, different color straps help you identify which boot is for which foot, quickly and easily.
The flex back strap is slotted through the TPU gaiter, it goes around the back of the foot, above the heel bulbs and is then fastened to both sides of the boot with ball rivets that are attached to the boot shell. The TPU gaiter has two height options for the back strap, so you can easily adjust the fit according to what your horse needs. Straps are also easy to shorten by cutting them with normal household scissors. Watch our video below for more information about how to get the perfect hoof boot fit for your horse or pony.

Materials
Flex back straps are made of thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU), a material that is often called a hybrid between plastic and rubber. TPU offers the flexibility of rubber, but with the strength and durability of plastic.
Care instructions
Flex back straps are easy to clean and maintain. The TPU material keeps its elasticity and lasts longer if the product is in regular use. After use, simply brush clean, rinse off any dirt and hang the straps to dry in a well-ventilated place. Do not use cleaning products, and do not store the back straps in a closed space such as a box or in your car.
Flex Boots are designed, tested and made in Finland.
