Flex Boots come with protective neoprene gaiters as standard, and the gaiters can also be purchased separately if you require spares. Spare gaiters are useful if your horse needs to wear Flex Boots 24/7; that way you can change the gaiters to clean, dry ones daily.Â
The different color gaiters are not just a fun way to complete your matchy matchy look or to add some color to your riding attire; they are a practical way to increase visibility when riding on the roads or to quickly identify boots if you own more than one size, for example.
The neoprene gaiter follows the shape of the TPU gaiter and attaches to the base of the TPU gaiter with an elastic band. The wings of the neoprene gaiter attach to the pastern straps as shown in the video below. Correctly attached neoprene gaiter prevents the boot from rubbing the horse’s leg and improves the boot fit.

Neoprene gaiters are made of 4mm thick neoprene with laminated fabric on both sides.Â
Care instructions
Neoprene gaiters can be rinsed with water or washed in a washing machine in a cold cycle. Air dry only, do not tumble dry. Any dry mud and debris can be brushed off.
